Festival Grand Rapids Mi : Festival is held each year, in Grand Rapids Michigan. It is a time when people of all kinds religious faiths and different backgrounds come together to celebrate life. Food-lots of food. If you want to experience food from different culture you will find plenty of it here.

And then there is music, lots of music to enjoy. Downtown is closed to traffic and replaced with Bands, Food and the Arts. It is always wonderful!

I believe that this flower is a type of orchid. The picture was taken at Meijer Gardens, Grand Rapids Mi.

Cottage built by a Doctor in the late 1800's. This was one of the first places built in the Grand Rapids Mi. area that had indoor copper plumbing. It has been preserved by the Lynn Wells family who has owned it for years.

A foggy west Michigan morning. When the fog began to go away, it left the trees with a coat of ice.

Taken at Ottawa County's, Rosy Mountain Park, just south of Grand Haven Michigan. Rosy Mountain, is just one of many beautiful parks in Ottawa County.

While fishing with my grandson, on the banks of the Grand River, in Allendale Michigan, I was able to snap these pictures of Grand Valley State University's Crew team practicing.

A foggy morning in west MIchigan, left these trees with a coat of ice. It was beautiful.

Tall building in background had to be evacuated because of flooding. Other buildings along river received some water in their basements but not serious.
